Lights On Romania opens the door to a fascinating experience in Timișoara this autumn. And being a volunteer at such an event will not only be a way to actively engage in the community but also a unique journey into the world of creativity and light. Lights On is not just a simple festival – it’s a bridge between the world of contemporary art and the public.
The benefits of being a volunteer are countless. Each experience of this kind brings about a win-win situation: you invest energy but gain experience, unique moments and new friends. Just as Lights On takes us on a journey into the fascinating world of light and art, so too, every volunteer will experiences this journey through luminous events- from getting to know artists that have exhibited in museums like Tate London or MoMA New York, to meeting emblematic figures like the Night Yayor of Amsterdam. It can be a journey of self-discovery, a chance to blossom personally and professionally, and even to discover new passions.
Being a volunteer at Lights On means being part of the team that supports the staging of ephemeral works. Whether you assist in organising the space, guiding visitors, or managing logistics, your contribution has a significant impact on the experience of each participant. You become part of a larger puzzle that brings light for all to experience.
Who are we looking for? The ideal volunteer is a person attentive to details, responsible, communicative, flexible, and creative. From ticket checking and interacting with the audience, to creating content for social media and providing technical and logistical support, each volunteer will have an essential role in the event’s unfolding.
