În solitudine omul trăiește momente de iluminare.
La început, în 2015, a fost Lights On, concursul de idei-soluții pentru iluminatul public festiv. Între timp, s-a făcut mare și frumos, și a devenit Lights On, festivalul de light-art.
Așa se face că orașul, cu ale sale bulevarde, parcuri și piețe, a devenit o expoziție în aer liber de mare anvergură a unor instalații artistice, create atât de artiști români, cât și străini. “Private moon”, “Mi-e dor de tine”, “Și mie”, “Te aștept”, “Museum of the moon”, “Gaia” sunt câteva dintre operele de artă ce au luminat Cluj-Napoca și chiar Londra.
Totodată, au pus în lumină diverse trăiri, precum dorul celor rămași în țară pentru cei care au plecat în afară, în căutarea unui trai și a unui fel de a trăi mai bun, sau poveștile țesute în jurul lunii de diversele culturi ale lumii. În 2020, Lights On își pune cea de-a treia ediție sub lumina solitudinii.
