“Don’t search for obscure formulas or mysteries in my work. It is pure Joy that I offer you. Look at my sculptures until you see them.” –Constantin Brancusi

“The Infinite Column of Light” is a connecting bridge between earth and sky. Between transience and eternity. Between consciousness and unconsciousness.

The Russian Artist Leonid Tishkov brings forth an homage to renowned sculpture Brâncuși, whose sculpture “the Infinite Column” has inspired him in the creation of the installation. If the original artwork was dedicated to the fallen Romanian soldiers during the first world war, with the aim to express infinite gratitude towards them, then the light installation suggests to use to be grateful for the things we have, as well as for those things we do not, for who we are, for who we are not, for the light, as well as for darkness, for both sides.
